Optics‘ OSFP112 400G VR4 transceiver represents the next-generation 112G SerDes technology, designed for 400 Gigabit Ethernet links over 30m OM3 or 50m OM4 multimode fiber. With 4 independent electrical channels operating up to 106.25Gbps per channel (4x112G PAM4), it delivers 400G bandwidth using the advanced 400GAUI-4 electrical interface.

The module operates at 850nm wavelength and incorporates a PAM4 retimer ASIC with a 4-channel modulator driver and 4 VCSEL lasers. On the receiver path, it features 4 photodiodes and a 4-channel TIA. The module features a riding heat sink design (Riding HS) for optimized thermal management and uses a dual MPO-12 APC connector with channels 5-8 left unused.

As an OSFP112 product, this module is fully compatible with next-generation switches featuring 112G SerDes (such as NVIDIA Spectrum-4), offering lower latency, reduced power consumption, and a clear path toward 800G Ethernet.
