Sky Optics 400G QSFP-DD SR8 is a standard short-reach multi-mode optical transceiver developed in accordance with IEEE 802.3ck 400GBASE-SR8 specification. It adopts 8-channel 850nm VCSEL array plus PAM4 modulation to realize total 425Gbps full-duplex bandwidth, equipped with MPO16-APC interface to support 70m over OM3 and 100m over OM4 multi-mode fiber transmission.

Adopting standard QSFP-DD hot-pluggable design, this module features low power consumption below 8W and stable operation in 0℃ to 70℃ commercial temperature range. It supports complete I²C DDM real-time diagnosis and CMIS4.0 protocol compliance. Built with mature optical coupling technology, it delivers excellent stability and universal compatibility with mainstream brand switches and servers.

As a cost-effective short-reach interconnection solution, it is widely used in cloud data center leaf-spine networking, ToR switch uplink and HPC computing cluster internal wiring
